About Candeo
Founded in 2003, Candeo serves software developers and online publishers. From the beginning, we've been customer-focused, taking our product development cues from our customers and their end-users.
We design our products and services to solve our customers' problems. In accordance with our customers' beliefs as well as our own, we adhere to a strict set of principles when designing software.
Depending on the needs of software developers, we help generate revenue for their products, extend their products onto the browser – or both. As a small company, we are able to be extremely agile, responding quickly to the needs of our customers and to the fast-changing pace of the internet economy.

The Candeo Story
History
While we've been around and tinkering with unintrusive internet advertising since 2002, we officially became Candeo Technologies in late 2004.
In the meantime we built a great team and worked with developers and end-users from all corners of the software world – from Russia and China to Italy and the US. As it turns out, a couple of years of tinkering (sounds more exciting than flat out R&D) goes a long way towards building great business relationships (see some of our business partners here) and unique technology.
In August of 2005 we launched our first product. With it generating revenue streams for our developers, they could focus on developing new products. And we did the same. In the latter part of the year, with the help of the developers using our products, we turned our attention to building a pipeline of new products.
Candeo Principles
Here at Candeo, we have a set of principles that guide our actions and decisions with respect to the software developers and the end-users of our products. Thus, you can always rest assured that we:
- Provide full disclosure to users upon installation of the functionality of the software, and always strive to obtain “informed” end user consent
- Maintain clearly written end user license agreement (EULA) and privacy policies
- Make available clear and easy uninstallation procedures to end users
- Never collect or transmit any personally identifiable information
- Never collect or track web surfing patterns or computer usage information
- Never serve any unannounced advertisements to end users
- Never use any update functions to deliver unrelated software or features
- Strive to enrich end-users' browsing experience
Our products enhance the end-users' experience with our customers' applications. These principles help us to achieve that.
