Management Team Bios

Hesham Ezzat – Co-Founder & CEO

Hesham was previously the Managing Director of Produxion, a joint venture between several media companies providing online advertising and information services to the TV/Broadcast community in the U.K. Produxion was ultimately acquired by Emap plc. Previously, Hesham worked as a management consultant for Marakon Associates, a consultancy focusing on helping Fortune 100 corporations create superior shareholder value. Prior to Marakon, Hesham worked in a variety of roles within technology consulting and business development at PriceWaterhouseCoopers and Seer Technologies, managing engagements in both Europe as well as the U.S. Hesham has a B. Eng. (Honours) from King's College in London and an MBA from INSEAD.

Thomas Schulz – Chief Commercial Officer

Thomas heads up Candeo’s business and corporate development activities. Before Candeo, Thomas worked for 3 years at Overture/Yahoo! Search Marketing where the last role he held was that of Vice President of Business Development Europe. Prior to Overture, Thomas headed up the European operations at The .tv Corporation. Before joining The .tv Corporation, Thomas worked as a strategy consultant with Marakon Associates. Thomas holds a B.A. from the European Partnership of Business Schools in Reutlingen, Germany and an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern University.

Steve Yi – Board Director

Steve was previously the Vice President of Strategy and Business Development for New.net, an Idealab company focusing on alternative internet navigational technologies and search services, which was acquired by The Vendare Group in the summer of 2004. Prior to New.net, Steve headed up business development at The .tv Corporation, a company he helped sell to Verisign (Nasdaq: VRSN) in 2002. Before joining The .tv Corporation, Steve worked as an investment banker with Goldman, Sachs & Co. and as a management consultant with Mercer Management Consulting. Steve has an A.B. from Harvard College and a J.D. from Harvard Law School.
